Environmental protection and sustainability
are very important to us
Our climate protection promise is a voluntary commitment to meet the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. It calls on companies to be CO2-neutral by 2050 – which is far too late for us.
Since mid-2021 we have been absolutely CO2-neutral (e.g. Scope 1 & Scope 2 /GHG protocol). We are currently working on determining our Scope 3 emissions.
Photovoltaics - ecologically into the future
With an area of approx. 1,150 m2, we generate approx. 160,000 kWh of electricity annually with our PV system and thus cover almost 20% of our needs. The CO2 savings amount to about 14 tons, which corresponds to an equivalent of 650 trees planted.
We cover the remaining 80% of our electricity needs with certified electricity from 100% hydropower or renewable green energy.

Emission-free travel
Our car fleet consists of 100% electric vehicles from European manufacturers and European production. We want to support the production site in Europe and secure jobs. To operate our vehicles, we use self-generated electricity of the PV system.
